Lauren Schultz the owner director and senior podiatrist of By the Bay Podiatry has been living and working on the Mornington Peninsula since 2007 and starting her own business in 2015. Lauren is Endorsed for Scheduled Medicines and is highly experienced in all aspects of Podiatry has a keen interest in sports medicine and paediatrics. Growing up in Gippsland then moving to the Mornington Peninsula from Melbourne she enjoys numerous hobbies of all kinds including most sports and love staying active playing netball, doing clinical Pilates and weight training, and enjoys walking regularly with her dog Rex.

Natalie graduated from La Trobe University with a Bachelor of Applied Science and Masters of Podiatric Practice in 2018. During her Masters studies Natalie treated a variety of patients at Peninsula Health, Monash Health and the Austin Hospital. Natalie is a friendly and caring podiatrist who provides a personal and thorough podiatry treatment. She is interested in all aspects of podiatry including diabetic foot care, musculoskeletal injuries, ingrown toenails and general podiatry treatment. Natalie is actively involved in the community by annually volunteering for the Oxfam Trailwalker and disabled surfing association. In her spare time, Natalie enjoys catching up with friends and family at local Mount Martha beach and Main Street shops.

We are thrilled at By the Bay Podiatry to have one of the few full-time exclusive paediatric podiatrists in the WORLD for many years in the Uk, and leader in clinical research and multidiscplinary practice and educator in tertiary podo-paediatic education in UK and Australia. Native to Tasmania were she now runs her own private paediatric practice, we are extremely lucky to have Sally over on the mainland and down on the peninsula with us every fortnight for two days offering the full scope of lower limb services and consultancy on all things paediatric!

EXPERIENCE

20 years paediatric experience. Musculoskeletal and neurological problems and gait assessment, in clinical and school settings.

NDIS PROVIDER

Prescribe and provide specialist orthoses, above ankle orthoses, AFO and medical grade footwear.

REFERRALS

We accept all major health insurance and government management plans.

You do not need a doctors referral to make an appointment at By the Bay Podiatry. Most private health funds cover Podiatric services and orthotics under their ancillary tables.

By the Bay Podiatry accepts Enhanced Primary Care Plans "EPC", Team Care Arrangement or chronic disease management plan which is a set up by your doctor through Medicare. There is a gap payment of $20 for an initial consult and $10 for follow up consults. Consult with your GP to find out whether you would be eligible for this scheme.

For return service men and women or DVA patients whether on a gold or white card need to obtain a doctors referral for their appointments and other services we can provide to be claimed under the Department of Veteran affairs.

​

We also accept work cover, TAC and NDIS health scheme patients.
